What is a mezzanine floor?

A mezzanine is an intermediate self-supporting structure that is installed separate to the main building, as opposed to being an integral addition.

A commercial/industrial mezzanine floor is generally constructed using steel columns and horizontal bracing, forming an elevated grid. Then a decking material, which varies depending on its application, is fixed to the steel frame. We offer all of our mezzanine floor systems with additional fire performance.

Where height permits, suspended ceilings, lighting, speakers, air conditioning, CCTV, sprinklers and fire, smoke and motion detectors can all be fitted to the mezzanine floor.
